Kevin & Angelia's Homepage - an odyssey trying to happen.

In this site you will find links to anything we have the time to publish about our experiences as expats. The photo galleries will be specific to a destination or event and sometimes have commentary associated with them. Kevin's travel and beer blogs are unsuccinct accounts of our respective experiences with travel outside and inside Belgium. Pretty much all accounts of travel inside Belgium will be found in the beer blog because, in our opinion, this is the most relevant perspective from which to appreciate this country. Below you will find links to the most recently posted material, updates on our whereabouts & etc. Enjoy!

I was lucky enough to be able to lead this year's ISB Outdoors trip which brought myself and 10 students to Morocco for a mountain biking adventure. It was certainly a trip through both time and space and is rumored to be a huge success with the students. You can see the pictures here on Picasa.

If you would like any information on the logistics or contacts for a mountain biking trip such as this. Just post a comment on Picasa.

For November break I went with a group of ISB students to Corsica to hike along the GR20 trail. The scenery was magnificent and the experience refreshing. I made a video of it for the Outdoor department at school and I've posted a low-res version of it HERE. Enjoy.

Just Returned from Verbier and everything there was lovely.  Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt.

Decked out in the only Seahawks gear I have, I watch the Seahawks beat Washington with Kumar and Zach who are anything but Seahawks fans.  Posted by Picasa

The gigantic cathedral, had it been finished, would be the most impressive anywhere in the world with its two massive towers. Even with one, it is still staggering.  Posted by Picasa

The great city of Antwerp was our destination the other day. The Grote Markt, or main square, is lined with unbelievable buildings that rival even the squre of Brussels. Posted by Picasa

Back From Morocco

Morocco was exotic, fun, challenging, relaxing and overall a great
experience. It is the kind of place we would love to go back to and see
more of what we got just a taste of, but it also has so much more that we
didn't see: Sahara, Fez, the Rif mountains, the Mediterranean coast,
resorts at Agadir. Check out the photos and commentary in the photo gallery.

School's out for summer and we are off to bag a few new countries between now and July 20th. This vacation will be on the outdoorsy side with hiking and fly-fishing in Slovenia and Croatia, and diving off the island of Korcula near Dubrovnik. See our complete itinerary for details.

My last post was quite some time ago, but I have finally put a new photo gallery out there from our Spring Break trip with Mike and Ryan. Only three more weeks of school left!
